The fordite is modern and is from the plant at Parkway in Toledo Ohio. This is a large set with stones that measure about 29 mm tall. The ear wires are solid 925 argentium sterling silver. Argentium is the silver of choice for ear wires due to it's resistance to tarnishing. These stones are teardrop shaped (flat both sides). Fordite is recycled automotive paint
