Using a telephoto lens I was able to zoom in close to the beach and waited from the next wave too come onshore giving three distinct variations of color

Using the low angle of the light I able to position the bench so the shadow continued to flow into the image

This was the case this evening when I hiked up Green Mountain in Lakewood to get a shot of Denver and the rising full moon in November 2009.
