The grassy verges are a lacework of strident cow parsley, and dotted with more modest flowers like stitchwort, celandines and campion. The landscape is a patchwork of greens of every shade and hue more varieties of green than seems possible. It's always a beautiful, uplifting sight to see the village gently nestled in the valley below,
