This is a beautiful set of tiny fordite stones that I cut and set in solid silver

I crafted this beautifully banded Lake Superior agate ring in solid sterling silver

The original fordite came from Ford Motors in Detroit hence the name Ford-ite

It's in a top domed teardrop with a flat back

I cut the stone in a domed oval and set it in solid . 925 sterling silver. I use recycled sterling silver in the majority of my designs making my own hand forged and formed sterling silver sheet metal.
