Whomever owned it previously had lacquered the rough agate at some point in the past making it look dull so it was a pleasant surprise when I cut it open and found these bright colors

I made this set of Lake Superior agate stud earrings from a unique white and orange Lake Superior agate found in central Minnesota. I cut and polished the stones in tiny domed rounds and handcrafted the settings for them in solid . 925 sterling silver.
