It has hook and eye fastenings to the front and has loops and draw cords at the back to adjust the size. The skirt is a full circle skirt which drapes from a dropped waist so you dont get that bulkiness at your waist. It is elasticated with hook and eye fastenings to the side. The elastic will need to be replaced
