The inner layer of the heat shield can handle over 2000 degrees Fahrenheit of direct heat. The shields are made of 1 inch of ceramic insulation material and covered with a silicone based outer shell that is colored either Black, Red, Chrome, or Gray. Since vibration on a motor is inevitable we have created a more durable design.
